About Mitchell Moments
Krista grew up in California, where her passion for photography first took shape through work with local non-profits and animal rescues. Using her creative skills for a cause, she captured heartfelt stories that highlighted the beauty and resilience of animals in need.
Over the years, Krista transitioned her focus toward wedding and commercial photography, building a reputation for her warm, cinematic style and eye for authentic moments. She works alongside her sister as a traveling photography team, documenting elopements and love stories across the United States. Krista has also collaborated with established photography and videography teams on large-scale commercial projects and independent films, bringing a blend of artistry and professionalism to every production.
When she’s not traveling to capture life’s most meaningful moments, Krista volunteers her time photographing at-risk dogs in shelters, fostering animals, cosplaying, and doing macro photography and shooting cars. Deeply inspired by art and nature, she spends her downtime sketching, hiking, and enjoying the company of her beloved parrot.
